ABOUT US
Welcome to The Springhead in Halifax.
The Springhead was previously your typical rundown village pub. It has been transformed into a unique contemporary experience and community hub, incorporating a farm shop, licensed café and restaurant.
The farm shop offers an extensive range of produce where you will find a butchery, bakery, deli, green grocery, general foods plus fine wines and beers.
We have also opened a licensed café and restaurant which is accessed from the rear car park and located on the first floor.
Monday to Saturday we have a café menu serving food from 9.00am until 7.00pm.
On Sunday food is served from 9.00am until 5.00pm.

The Springhead farm shop is owned by local family quality wholesale and retail butchers and farmers – Halifax Farm Meats Ltd. Please come along an enjoy a relaxed , friendly, local shopping experience. You will find an extensive range of fresh meat, fruit & veg and general produce on sale. Fresh from the farm daily beef, lamb, pork and poultry and locally sourced dairy produce and eggs.
We even bake in-house fresh pies, sausage rolls and pasties, cooked meats.

The Sprinhead is located on a busy junction at the heart of the village Mount Tabor.
Travel from Halifax centre up Pellon Lane for 3 miles, past the open fields on both sides of the road. You will find us on the left hand side at the crossroads junction which is sign posted left to Warley and right to Mixenden. The farm shop can be found inside The Springhead where you can also visit the café bar and the village pub.
We have a large car park located to the rear.
